If you are thinking of taking these tablets you may want to know what they are made of. Here is a list of ingredients found in an XLS Medical Fat Binder tablet:
This is the key ingredient which is responsible for the fat binding. It is a natural fibre complex sourced from dried cactus leaves (Opuntia ficus-indica) which is then enriched with Acacia fibres. The result is a substance which is very rich in fibre and partly insoluble and partly soluble in water. It has been found to be very effective at reducing fat absolution by binding dietary fats in the stomach thereby reducing fat absolution into the body.
Studies have also shown it to have no pharmacological effects on the system so there are no direct side effects. You can read more about Litramine here.
Through stopping your body from absorbing dietary fats it also partially stop the absorption of some important vitamins. So XLS Medical have added them to the tablet to make up for any shortfall.
